I have also been coming to this hotel for several years & it used to be great. This last year its been questionable to the point where Ive been concerned. I also just read all the other bad reviews & im kind of in shock. I too have had hospitality staff here be rude to me. Loud rooms & dirty moments. & now this hotel is charging $24 for parking your car - which is the same cost as resort fees at local resorts (ones that have actual resort things to offer resorts that offer things like golf courses, restaurants, water filters, multiple pools, and amenities far beyond this basic hotel.
Tacking on this exorbitant extra fee seems manipulative to just add money to a hotel stay without real justification. Again a Resort fee at actual resorts nearby are $24.
There are some serious issues here that need to be addressed. On top of that, The amenities just dont justify any extra resort style fees. i.e. read the reviews
Some serious issues:
Useless & expensive mini store. Seriously Bad horrific coffee, no hot water or tea station except sad little carafes ( that get cold ) in one distant location for the entire both hotels. No filtered drinking water stations, a highly processed breakfast full of sugar and fast food. Obviously there are rude staff in addition to these weird house keeping issues & finally there are loud Old school ACs and fridges here; some that have very loud compressors that can totally keep you up or wake you up while youre sleeping.
I left something of value in my room, nothing crazy but just the same, the housekeeping staff helped themselves to it and their lost and found never received it.
$24 fee with all this stuff, I highly disagree

Worst hotel experience weve had so far in Orlando. Were from Tallahassee and we were staying for 5 days. When it was our third day we left to go to the Disney Parks early afternoon. When we came back to our room close to midnight, we saw our hotel door was left opened by housekeeping. How long? Who knows. Our room is right by the elevators so who knows if anyone stuck their head in to our room or took anything. We complained to the front desk and even they were puzzled that housekeeping came in when they werent scheduled to. After that they did nothing to fix the situation of ease of sense of fear. They just said to us if nothing is stolen you guys are fine. Total neglect on their part. Then they next day my car was keyed in the parking lot.
Horrible service and horrible management. Will not be staying at again.

I have been coming to this hotel since late 2018, usually several times a year. The location is great for Disney and for visiting family. It was the perfect hotel for a long time but unfortunately over my past few visits, the hotel is starting to show its age. I have had rooms with ACs not working properly, broken bathroom doors, appliances not working properly, and just overall maintenance issues. And i have shared this with the hotel when i receive a survey after staying.
I'm sad to not give 5 stars like i did previously but the hotel is just not up to par anymore and I will likely be looking for a new place.
One thing that has stayed constant is the breakfast in the morning. The staff keeps that place immaculate and always has!
