I've had multiple friends use Sage where they were told they had gingivitis or cavities and were charged extremely high amounts of money for abx. One friend got a 2nd opinion and was told that she didn't even have gingival swelling or caries. This place sounds like a crooked mechanic stealing money from people.

I decided to try Sage because it was convenient to where I work and was in network with my insurance. I have never had cavities or gum health issues, and I take great care of my teeth. The hygienist told me that I needed to have expensive scaling and root planing done because of periodontitis that my insurance would not cover. They refused to clean my teeth without this procedure. I got a second opinion from another dentist who said I was a model for dental health both gums and teeth. Sage was trying to sell me an expensive procedure that I did not need. The appointment set up with one for the exam and a second appointment needed for cleaning supports this type of scam. The employees seem to assume you will need a second appointment for this scaling and root planing procedure. In addition my insurance company says they haven't received the claim from this company, and the bill was sent back to me. In sum, I recommend going somewhere else and saving yourself the trouble.

***Newest Update!*** They fired Meghan and this office is back to their shady business practices. You have been warned by me and other reviewers: Do Not Go To Sage Dental. In my most recent saga, I had an *ordinary* cleaning (standard preventative) done, checked *three* times that the $15 co-pay was all I had to pay and this was not an estimate, and was guaranteed by the hygienist, Muhammod, that I would, in fact, only be charged my $15 co-pay. I paid it upon services rendered. Fast forward a few months, and I *magically* have an overdue bill with Sage Dental, and am getting fed the same lines as to why it's not their fault. Unacceptable behavior, and unacceptable customer service. (Previously) **UPDATE!**Meghan and the new staff at this location will be the only people that can turn the Sage Dental name around. I truly believe in this office manager and her vision for the company. When she first came to this location, she got caught in the crosshairs of a violent storm between me, previous office staff, and staff at a different location. She was left to clean the wreckage of a problem she didn't create.
