ADT's Corporation Values are as follows:
1. Trust
2. Collaboration
3. Service
4. Innovation
Trust- I do not trust ADT's security systems as they have repeatedly gone off alerting EMS to break-ins, carbon monoxide poisoning, and their automated locks for doors and garages have never worked for any significant period of time. Finally, their customer service is reprehensible (yes, I used that word). The delay when speaking hasn't improved in yrs; the garbled voice-quality makes every conversation extremely painful; lastly, they do not believe in a win-win solution. This $6.4 billion company will not resolve your problem(s), they'll only add to them.
Collaboration- I'm uncertain as to their meaning of this word, but I can assure you this company has not effectively collaborated w/ my family and I on anything.
Service- Their customer service is some of the worst I've ever had the displeasure of tolerating--yes, tolerating. I have cumulatively spent valuable hrs upon hrs (upon hrs) on the phone (as they do not provide real ppl to interact w/ in the probable event of a dispute) trying to unravel their problems, never coming to a proper solution.
Innovation- Innovation is defined as something new or different being introduced. If what ADT is introducing is a serious lack of protection, lack of customer service, and a complete disregard for reliable and effective security protocols, then they're hitting the proverbial nail on the head.
Avoid ADT at all costs! I suspect their business will not be around for much longer as they've clearly "lost their way". Other truly innovative home-security companies are popping up and will eventually displace them, companies eager to serve the numerous disgruntled ex-ADT customers looking to spend their hard-earned dollars on a professional home-security business.
In my numerous years of having to untangle their problems I have had enough! This company is more difficult to tolerate than Verizon and that's really saying something.
I'd give zero stars if I could--even negative stars. Alas, Google has yet to provide this much-needed option.

Horrible service ! Waist of money !!!!!!!! They make you pay for equipment you are not using !!!! DO NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACT!

Terrible customer service. Tried to cancel after our contract expired. Made it almost impossible, and after 3 months of trying with an account paused, they sent our account to collections.
