Wonderful vacation. I read a lot of reviews before going. And it is definitely still not the full facility post-hurricane two years ago. However, things were great. Only one pool open though at the time of our visit. 3.20.24. Service can be a little bit slow. People didnt answer the phone a lot when calling for room service or other simple questions. Valet was a little bit slow at times. So is it worth the price? Im not really sure I can say yes. However, we would return. And we had a very great time.

My experience at this hotel was deeply disappointing and concerning, to the point where I feel compelled to advise others, particularly those of Asian descent, to reconsider their choice. Upon arrival, well before the official check-in time of 4 PM, I was informed I'd be called once my room was ready. This call never came, and when I inquired at 4:30 PM, I was told my room was still not prepared, without any prior communication. Attempts to reach the front desk by phone were unsuccessful, compounding the frustration.More distressingly, I observed a pattern of behavior from the front desk staff that suggests a preference for interacting more positively with white guests and staff. This perceived bias, whether intentional or not, is unacceptable and indicates a profound issue with the establishment's service culture and values.The lack of timely room availability, ineffective communication, and the suggestion of discriminatory behavior significantly impacted my stay. This experience, particularly the concern over discriminatory attitudes, leads me to advise others, especially those of Asian heritage, to avoid this establishment. It's essential for all guests to feel welcomed and valued, irrespective of their background, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
Also the food here is very basic in taste for the luxury resort. Next time I stick with the Ritz
