WARNING ARQBUILT WILL DESTROY YOUR PROJECT.
I should have read the prior review before I let this company destroy my project. Last year this company was going to fix up my place. They made all these promises. Everything sounded great. They gave me a really low estimate, which should have made me think twice. After they got a lot of my money things soon changed. Delays, excuses, poor workmanship, and increasing costs. I should have contacted a lawyer but I felt stuck and no where to turn. Miami is such a corrupt town. If I got a lawyer I am sure they would have made my situation worse. I could not go to small claims court because I was already in the hole with ARQBuilt for so much more than what small claims court is for. Plus, I have no idea about the laws down here.
In the end they finally finished the job. But, I was totally unsatisfied. It took about 5 times loner than they said. Cost over 50% more than they estimated. And most upsetting was the fact that the workmanship on my place was way below average.
I pray that others read what I wrote before they make the same mistake. I am new to Miami and have learned a very big lesion from this company. Look around and read reviews if you can when choosing a contractor or architect to work on your project. Use word of mouth and reviews. Try to find a company with a positive Better Business Bureau report. ARQBuilt has no Better Business Bureau status. Hopefully you will not end up like me.
