I do not recommend this gym. The customer service treatment is completely unprofessional and unethical. I notified a breach of contract by their part, they refused to accept any accountability in the matter. After I unauthorized my bank account, they continued to deduct money from the account after cancelling my membership. My experience was a nightmare. If you can hire a personal trainer, it will be more beneficial.

Would give zero stars if I could. It's a scam. They will do whatever they can to extract as much money from you as they can. Go someplace else that respects their clients.

The customer service representative was uninformed of the cancellation policy of the company Previously, I have submitted a request of cancellation due to re-location back on Feb 24, 2021, which was answered through an email notifying the immediate cancellation of the membership. Later on the same day, I was notified that the cancellation was not immediate and that I should call on March 6, 2021, to proceed with the payment of cancellation which was 20% of the remaining amount ($78.02). On March 6, I contacted the HCOA offices in Miami to proceed with the payment and complete the cancellation, instead, a voicemail answered to notify me that they were not working that day. The next day, I was charged with this month's (March) fees. Therefore, I contacted them by email to forward the previous emails and notify the inconvenience. They told me that to proceed with the cancellation, I have to pay the 20% of the remaining payments, which I already knew, but that they will not refund the already charge March monthly fees even when I have previously submitted a request for cancellation back on Feb 24 which was answered satisfactorily and, moreover, I will not be able to visit the gym due to re-location. Thus, I ended up with a debt of $110 for cancellation, from which $39.01 is from a service I will not receive, just because they told me to contact them on a date they were not working. Even when I was willing to pay the cancellation fees back on Feb 24, 2021. Even when I sent proof of the multiples notification, including the one they assure an immediate cancellation, the customer service representative was indifferent, and questioned me why I have not visited the gym to submit the payment. For which, I respond that I did not know that detail. I was just following the instructions given by one of the customer associates and Sra. Diana Lopez. Moreover, today, I visit the gym to submit the cancellation payment in person, as notified by Zugeily Diaz, and the associate told me that this process need to be proceeded by the HCOA offices through a phone-call. The treatment by Zugeily Diaz and Diana Colon was unacceptable, they seem so indifferent to the situation, never apologize for the misinformation or look for a solution to the problem and make me feel as I was trying to scam them, for asking a refund for this month charges, when they were the ones lying to me in the first place. I feel scammed by HCOA customer service and sorry that because this situation I will never sign another contract or use your services again. Such a shame, considering the great trainers and personal they have in HCOA Guaynabo for which I only have a good thing to thanks for. Therefore, people who are always on the move be aware of the re-location policy and the uninformed customer service. Do not believe the "You should wait or you should make the payment later because the cancellation is immediate". The cancellation is not that immediate. Even when you are making the cancellation in the middle of the month, you have already paid for that monthly gym service, thus you can complete your remaining visits until the end of you monthly cycle.
