US Bank has been the single worst banking experience of my life. I have a Cadillac lease through US Bank. For the first 8 months, I had to call EACH month to get payments processed. I initial set up online banking and that is where the problems started. Locked out, payments not precessed, one problem after another. I finally switched to paper billing and STILL had to call each month. Checks weren't processed, addresses changed. Their customer service varied from rude to incompetent. I finally spoke with an upper level manager who at least got my payment situation corrected. For the past 2 years I have my personal bank send a check. I send it a month in advance to assure receipt. Most recently, I received a threatening letter for not having car insurance, which is not the case and had to contact my insurance company to fax them, because once answering the phone, they put me on hold for over 10 minutes. If you have other bank options, steer clear of US Bank.
