Terrible customer service. They emailed me at 11PM the night before my appointment to tell me it was cancelled due to overbooking. Not having the courtesy to call for something they had already charged my card for the day they cancelled is extremely unprofessional.

Absolutely terrible and unprofessional (not that I would expect more in Miami). After waiting 15 min past my appt time, I decided to call to find out where my hair stylist is. I was informed that she had just called headquarters. After putting me on hold, the"customer service" representative informed me that the stylist had been in a car accident on their way to me, but that they were finished up with the police and would be at my house in 20 more minutes (making her 40 minutes late). I had to cancel my appt, because unfortunately I didn't have 20 more minutes. This was suppose to be an updo for a wedding in attending. Now I'm scrambling to do something with my day old hair. I think it is completely unprofessional no one called me to inform me my stylist was going to be late. And worse, that they didn't send someone else over immediately. I will never be relying on Glamsquad again.

The idea of the service is great, so i've hired them twice because of the idea of the convenience. Honestly, if you're looking for quality hair stylists, go to a real salon. They claim the service will take 45 minutes...i just finished a service that did not take longer than 20 minutes for a blowdry...not a problem if they do a superb job...but i ask for straight hair, she gives me curles in the bottom; she parts it wrong; it looks blow dried and cute i guess, but not professionally done so; i've could have done just as good or better if i take my time. They'll give you a blow dry at the convenience of your home, but if you're hoping for that "wow, i love my hair!" feeling, this is not the service. I also hate that the app obliges you to give a 20% tip before the person even arrives to your house; i thought tips were given based on the quality of the service. I'd like to make that decision myself once i see my hair.
