Decent boat rental and charters. Not the most expensive but also not the cheapest--it's a solid deal. The captain fee is a bit pricey but it's nice to to have to think about driving and just enjoy your time on the water . You need to factor in gas $ and tip, taxes--in addition to the boat rental. I think it's pretty much to be expected.

We booked a boat without a captain through the site in July 2022, sent deposit by Zelle as written on the site, chose the time, but the day before the rental we are told that they cannot give us a boat without a captain. We ended up rescheduling our booking. But a month later - in August 2022 - the boat was again unavailable. Another try was in September 2022. NOTHING. In November 2022 we again tried to reschedule our booking but were denied again. In the end, I demanded a refund of the money we paid, but I was even denied this. SCAM. We never received the service or refund. This is a completely illegal scam.

Zum Schluss mussten wir 350.- $ zustzlich fr Benzin bezahlen. Total unprofessionelles Unternehmen. Der Captain welcher nicht bei Captain Joe's angestellt war, war sehr freundlich und kompetent.

Horrible!!! Let me say that our captain Albert who is not an employee was wonderful but we charters a 24 foot boat with 4 adults and 4 kids for 2 hours yesterday. After a really wonderful ride the boat broke down and we were stuck in the middle of the ocean at 5pm when it was getting colder. Albert called Captain Joe and asked for a rescue. They said 15 -25 minutes . Over and hour later - when the kids were scared and freezing - Joe would not even answer our calls! We just wanted to know where the rescue boat was. We all had appointments at 6 and 6:30 that we were missing and Joe would not even answer our calls. He is still not answering! A true good person and business man would have called to see if we were ok and offer us a future boat ride or some refund. But Joe is not an honest dealer and doesnt care. Its a shame.
