We would like to thank Stanley Homes for the all the hard work invested in our new home. We did a lot of research to find a builder and picked Stanley because we felt confident with the manner in which the pre-construction process was explained and was also provided with issues that may or may not delay the construction process. Building through the pandemic clearly put a hold/delay on several building tasks but once construction continued the building team reassured us that the work we expected would be completed in a timely manner. There were of course times when certain tasks did not go according to plan but we were reassured that things would be corrected and they truly were. We would like to thank the entire crew: Andrea, Jimmy, electricians, plumbers, etc. for all their assistance. Thanks for taking our calls and responding to our emails. We love our home and are very proud that Stanley Homes made every effort to make our vision and dream come true. All the best.

We started our search looking for the best builders in our area, and Stanley Homes was at the top of that search. Once we took a look at their website and their reviews, we knew we had to work with them. From day one, Andrea was amazing. She had us tour some homes and we settled on the Marsh Harbor II. We were able to customize that home to tailor fit our familys needs. Once construction started, Jimmy and Andrea made sure we were kept up to date through the building process. We could not ask for a better team. Somehow everything was kept on schedule, even with a few change orders! We proud how everything turned out and blessed to have had the best builders in our area build us our forever home. Thank you so much Stanley Homes!

Building during a pandemic is NOT a good experience. The stressors of delays, supply chain issues on top of inflation, and impacts on cost are beyond anyones control. Although there were plenty of tough experiences, Andrea was in constant communication with us. It was hugely helpful having her updates and clarifications not only through the weekdays but also after hours and various weekends. She spent a lot of time with us in those crucial planning moments, such as the building bible creation. She gives realistic advice and has plenty of lessons learned to give clients that help ensure expectations are met. From the construction side, Jimmy is your pragmatic advocate with all the trades. He has an eye for identifying defects that also comes from years of experience. His role kicks into overdrive towards the later parts of the build and his updates by phone and text are a needed relief to help with expectations.
Is our house medical grade perfect? No, but the trades stand behind their work by revisiting for any needed corrections and Jimmy does great to coordinate and ensure its done. This is one beautiful house. Services: Custom home design, New construction services, Home building

My family and I selected Stanley Homes to build our semi-custom dream house on a direct riverfront lot. The builder lists "build on your land" as one of their offerings. After much deliberation we chose one of their "stock" floor plans, the Marsh Harbor II. From start to finish the builder was awesome. Up front by chance we met another family who had recently moved in to the same model home from Stanley Homes. We met with them along with the builder and collected a few custom modifications to the stock floor plan which Stanley Homes was able to accommodate into the build. Being a small business owner I know the value of expectation setting and one of the things that Stanley did was to set our expectations up front. For instance, we were not misled into an unrealistic build time frame. We also were told to trust the process... not everything goes perfect and along the way small problems or delays, especially with materials, cropped up. The superintendent Jimmy was great. My wife and I felt included and updated along the way. Having never built a house before we were newbies and had a lot of questions which Jimmy and Jason answered as they educated us. The end product was exactly what we imagined when we first started on this adventure. In fact our expectations were exceeded. In spite of all the Covid related delays, the house completed almost exactly when Stanley said it would finish. I want to point out that the subcontractors that Stanley uses were all very good. I can't think of one that did not do an outstanding job. Because I know a lot of subcontractors... from time to time I would check with them to see if I was getting the right work product. It was the case that the Stanley subs were doing great work. The plumbers, electricians, dry wall crew, stucco crew, framers, and carpenters tile guys were great. I especially felt that the finish carpenter, tile crew and painters were excellent. I was mostly impressed with the superintendent Jimmy who kept everyone scheduled and on task. He continually inspected the house and developed punch list items so that when the house was mostly complete, the final punch list was relatively short. In fact the only outstanding items we had upon move-in had mostly to do with one or two back ordered electronic parts which did not prevent move in. Because we built on an atypical lot, on the river, with well water, septic and a pool, the build was a little more complicated than if the home were built in a development. So there was a lot to manage in terms of septic placement, well placement, the water treatment plant, a concrete wall, etc. Our house was also built on a massive layer of coquina so the septic and pool dig were a little more complicated. We also used a dock builder, summer kitchen company and Tiki hut company all of which I contracted directly, and the scheduling of all these moving parts was handled by Stanley Homes nicely. The owner's wife Denise also gave us some great advice regarding our backsplash selection. After living in the house for over a month now, we are really enjoying the layout of the Marsh Harbor II. It is efficient, creative and comfortable. My wife and I have 3 adult college students living with us and everyone has their own space. Our house has everything we wanted and more including a stand by generator, insulated roof, wide attic access, epoxy garage floor, and more. I could go on and on. Long story short, I am very pleased and would recommend Stanley to anyone. I noticed that there are a couple of 1 star reviews and feel that some home owners have unrealistic expectations of what home ownership is like. There will always be small things to deal with. That is part of owning a house, regardless of who built it. Here is a link to pictures of the finished product. Stanley hires a professional photographer at the end of the build to document their work. A nice touch.
