My dog has been going here for daycare for almost a year, and he loves it! He gets to play all day instead being home alone. Hes also boarded here a few times, and they always take good care of him. The owners genuinely care about everyones dogs, and the ladies that work for them are fantastic!

This is the only place I feel comfortable leaving my high-energy, show dog. Tony and Yolanda always prioritize the best interest of the dogs. My dog loves coming here and loves all the employees!!

The staff is great and my dog was always cared for and loved. Unfortunately she had contracted kennel cough twice in the last year there. The first time I brought it to their attention in hopes they would inform other pet owners but instead they claimed it was due to the breed of dog I have. My dog never had an issue at any other daycare/boarding facility. For the health of my dog I no longer feel comfortable bringing her there.

Hello Michelle, I tried to reach out to you and was unable to reach you. We sure care about Turbo as you have been a long-time valued customer.This is cold and flu season for people and dogs. As per Preppy Pet’s policy we are notifying all clients if we have been informed of a dog that is being treated for symptoms related to Canine Cough. This means that dogs are treated by their veterinarians for some form of upper respiratory infection, but they have not been tested for anything specific. This is not unusual because as the veterinarians that we consult with have explained, in most cases the treatment for various upper respiratory infections are the same and although testing for the exact strain would be helpful it would add on additional cost to their client that is not always necessary.So although we cannot inform you that dogs have canine cough we do provide the information that they are being treated for symptoms related to canine cough or other upper respiratory infections. As always, all dogs that enter our facility must provide proof of all required vaccines, included Bordetella which covers canine cough. There are no exceptions to this policy. With that said, as with people, the flu vaccine won't prevent you from getting a different strain of the flu and we have the same happening in the dog world. Other factors that affect a dog’s immunity is there age and other health factors such as allergies and breed related issues, exposed to excessive dust from construction sites like dry wall insulation, anxiety just to name a few.This is the same challenge that we face when we send our 2-legged children to school, but with our 4-legged children even more so because they play with their mouths.Preppy Pet follows strict sanitizing protocols in our normal daily operations and completes a full facility floor and equipment sanitizing every day. We also have an HVAC system with UV lights that circulates the air and we follow a monthly filter change procedure to aid in keeping the air clean. Took my dog here, dog came home with a bunch of injuries, I could see on the pet cams that my dog was being mauled. It took 3 hours for me to reach anyone about this, and I ended up having to take the dog to the vet due to my dog ending up with an infection due to the injuries their negligence caused. Not only did my dog get mauled and traumatized, but now I had to spend hundreds of dollars unnecessarily. Never taking my dog here again!
