Excellent Company! They did exactly what they promised, when they promised and for the cost they estimated. Their cost was very competitive and we'll worth it! Rich and his crew are very knowledgeable and equally concerned about the quality of their work and the safety of involved. Finally, they clean up was so thorough that other than the missing tree limbs you wouldn't know they had been there. I highly recommend this company!

We just had our second very old, very large tree removed in the last 4 months. Should be the last. The first, the oldest hickory tree our yard service has ever seen in Jacksonville, actually had a large crack in the back of it. Thank goodness for Bug Out! They noticed it while spraying the back yard and alerted us. The tree's removal was dicey at best, very dangerous. Big City Tree Service took the time to assess the situation from all angles, before coming up with a plan. At their suggestion, I let the neighbors know what was going on, so they'd stay out of their backyards. Big City is one of only two companies in town to own a specific type of machine (which I'll call a spider) that enabled them to access our back yard without damaging either of our septic tanks or drain fields. This company is the best tree service we've ever used and we have used MANY, for our yard and our daughter's. They are very professional, punctual, clean up every bit of mess including at the street by their trucks. If you drove down our street after the job, you'd never be able to tell they'd been here. Big City Tree Service is also the most reasonably priced tree service we've used, by far! We had them back this past Wednesday to remove a large, very old sweet gum, which developed "mushrooms." They seemed to be multiplying practically before our eyes. Same wonderful results. In addition, Big City Tree Service has done a great job "hurricane proofing" our other trees, including a beautiful live oak.
