I found this dentist online and the reviews were impeccable so I decided to give them a call. The lady at the front desk was so helpful in helping me figure out insurance coverage, etc. so I decided to book with them for the first time after moving to Jacksonville. When it was time for my appointment weeks later, I was seen a little late, but no big deal, and then had x-rays taken promptly. Then I sat there waiting for Dr. Gully while I heard him speaking with a patient in the room next door, then the drill going and going as I just sat there... 20 minutes went by... another 20... it's now been 40 minutes since I had my x-rays and a little over an hour since my appointment time. I let another 10 minutes go by... at this point sitting in the chair for over an hour, 50 minutes of which I was just sitting there alone waiting on Dr. Gully. I finally got up and just asked if I should reschedule as clearly my appointment wasn't their priority. They told me he'd be in shortly but I stayed alone in that room for 50 minutes telling myself that, so I didn't risk it, and left. When I left, I saw another gentleman sitting in a chair waiting for Dr. Gully as well. So... there are now two people waiting for this dentist while he's working on a third patient... Then when I left, saw ANOTHER gentleman waiting in the waiting area... I don't get it, how can four people see the dentist at once? Anyway, after waiting on the dentist for 50 minuets and a total of an hour and a half in the office altogether, I left and will not be returning. As a patient, our time is valuable as well and if you get so backed up that you can't handle your patients with appointments due to emergencies (which happen, I get it!), then perhaps call to reschedule ME, not make ME wait for you because of someone else. Very unfair and highly unprofessional. Also on my way out, I was told my appointment time was set for 2 hours... so it takes 2 hours to do x-rays and an exam without a cleaning? I'd imagine that's because for about an hour-plus of it, patients are just waiting for the dentist...

Dr’ Gully has been my dentist for many years and I travel across town to co to us with his services. His staff gives care with each visit. They offer a $300 plan to cover two cleanings, xrays, consult and one emergency visit. This is by far more fair than any insurance. Great place for all your dental needs!!
