Jet-A-Tub

Just called and spoke with Dave. I had questions about a hot tub I was purchasing and he was very friendly and provided great information regarding the manufacturer and his experience with any issues with their tubs. We have decided to move forward with our purchase, more comfortable now, with the knowledge that he will be our local service representative. Thank you Dave.

Had Dave come out on a warranty call to find out why the tun was leaking. $125 later, he decides the waterfall feature is somehow wicking under the cover. Two months later (with the cover off and the leak still on-going) I take off the back panel to find mold and the leaking air vent. This guy is useless.

What a horrendous experience and it was just based on a phone call. Dave with "Spa King" called. I Googled Spa King and couldn't find anything so I looked up the number he called from and it's listed with Jet-a-Tub. Have no idea why he's not working under this name but can only assume it's due to a negative reason. Needless to say, our Spa Manufacturer called him to service our spa through our warranty. He asked some typical questions to try to diagnose the issue which was to be expected. But when he asked if he had access to all 4 sides, we said no, that it was pushed up against a wall with about a 2 inch access on that side. His attitude changed and proceeded to say that this would be an issue if the leak was coming from that side. I replied with no problem, we'll just drain the tub and move it with some good ole fashioned man power. He then practically yelled and said that that would be the responsibility of the home owner! And that's fine and we would be understanding of that. He then scolded us and explained that all spas should be 18-24 inches from any wall to allow for access. Well I explained that this is where our manufacturer placed it and they didn't indicate that it would be a problem. I think told him that there was no need to be so negative when we don't even know if the access is going to be an issue yet. Come take a look, and if it's on that side then we address the issue then. He then become unresponsive and I can only assume hung up on me. What a terrible terrible experience and we're so thankful we don't have to do business with him! Our manufacturer is finding another company to send out and is absolutely astonished that he treated us that way. Hopefully you read this one day Dave. You can't live life or certainly run a business with the attitude you're carrying. We hope you find peace and stop living harboring such anger.
