Sloan Appliance Repair

I called this company - Left a voicemail and never got a call back til this day. I decided to go with another appliance repair company and glad I did. Looks like the previous review before this one was pretty accurate. Answering the phone or responding is important, especially if said business mentions they warranty their work, not sure if this one does or not, but the one I went with does.

A guy showed up to fix our water filter housing knowing full well that was what was needed. Told us we had the wrong part and that getting the correct part from Whirlpool was going to be virtually impossible. Gave me the part number and said I should look for it online and if I get one, he would fix it. He also said, if his company came across one, they would let us know. For that nothing of a visit, he charged us a "diagnostic" fee of $85. What he had to diagnose is beyond me. We called the office today to tell them we can't find the part and are they looking for it. We were informed they had no intentions of looking for the part for us. Service: Refrigerator repair

Sloan has helped us with a few appliance repairs and saved us considerable amounts of money. What I like best, though, is that I called him about my dryer timer knob the other day. Instead of coming out and charging me for a service call, he gave me a part number for a new and better knob, which I ordered and put on the machine...and it worked perfectly! I was hesitant to call a repair service but so glad we called Sloan. Once we told Sloan about the issue he didn't recommend repair. They saved us a service call and spent some time answering my questions about replacing the appliance! I really appreciate the honesty and Sloan will be our first call when something breaks in the future. Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair

We had scheduled a service appointment for a Tuesday, however over the weekend we took out our receipts for the LG Washer and Dryer and saw we had purchased in 2002. We then decided to buy a new washer and dryer instead of having our dryer repaired over the weekend and was going to call on Monday to cancel our appointment. Tuesday came around and they called to see if they could come early. I explained to him what had happened and that I forgot to call to cancel and even offered to pay for the service call. He refused and his professional, customer service went above and beyond. We will certainly call them if we need any future repairs.
