      image I filed a claim over a month ago only to find out that my policy had been canceled about 2 week before hand WITHOUT me being notified. I'm 33 with stage 4 cancer, things are hard enough as it is. The 1 time in my life I've actually needed car insurance it wasn't there. I had NO idea that I was driving around illegally and more than a month later I still have no answer as to whether they are going to cover it or not. Currently my car is growing mold because of water damage and I can do absolutely nothing with it until I hear back from Geico. I've called MANY times and all they keep telling me is "we'll reach out to you when we have an answer". So, right now I'm still making payments on a car that I can't drive or attempt to fix. I've never had so much trouble with any company in my life.
