I dropped my package off on February 28 as of 318. They lost it and had no idea it was even there. What a bunch of idiots not even an explanation or an apology from them just a bunch of confused faces.

We have been in business for 40 years and handle hundreds of tax returns each year. To be fair to all our clients, we prepare the tax returns in the order they come in. During the busiest time of tax season, it could take 2-3 weeks from the time a client’s information is brought to us until the time their tax return is prepared. Our clients are generally understanding of this and are patient with us. In your case, your information was not lost, as it was returned to you upon your request. Our receptionist, who you spoke to (screamed at) on the phone, does not prepare tax returns, therefore, she does not keep the tax folders in her office and needed to locate your file from the preparer.
