I am going to write this review to serve as a warning to travelers passing through the area. This hotel is not somewhere you want to stay. The rooms are acceptably clean and the pool is huge and deep which is awesome but once the sun goes down this place is a hell hole. I'd like to warn that most of the people staying here actually live there and are not on vacation. Most of them are former inmates and some are on house arrest there and are facilitated living there by the state. Prostitution as well as the sales of narcotics is very well known here as are car break ins and theft. You will not sleep well due to the night activity going on and you will not feel safe here. Cokaroaches are abundant here and part of the hotel towards the back is shut down. Very creepy at night. I urge travelers to go two blocks down and across the street to the days inn. It will cost you $20 more a night but at least you will be safe. You can also head south 15 more minutes and find better hotels. Staff is really friendly and there is or used to be an amazing Thai restaurant attached to the hotel but he used to be too afraid to even let people in sometimes and would keep the door locked due to robberies.

This is a good place to stay in a pinch. Its affordable, but not the cleanest place I've stayed. On the bottom floor are the rooms rented nightly. Upstairs are the weekly rated rooms. The problem with those are the neighbors are loud and rude. Many of them live there long term and feel like they can do whatever they want up to and including hanging out on the walkway in front of the door to your room talking loudly and keeping you up during late nighttime, and early morning. The employees and managment however are nice and courteous.
