Doctor Carlos Arias is a very very good doctor, unfortunately who runs the office is doing a very poor job, try to make appointment literally impossible, your call runs from front desk to nurse station because every respiratory issues need nurse approval for appointment 🙄🤯 you no even finish to talk when the girl at the phone send you to the nurse line. Very poor customer service for a VERY GOOD DOCTOR.

Dr Arias is rude and tactless. He does not provide patients with solutions but complains and tells some things that one wonders how can someone like him is allowed to practice medicine.
If you want a doctor that respects you, he will not. He will tell you you are fat and that you will die because your diet does not work, and he will also tell you that you are the great candidate for a gastric bypass when he could be supportive and guide his patients to a path of Heath.
Then he wonders why one does not want to see him that often. Who would?
I also, had a severe ankle sprain and could not walk for a year and took a long time to recover from other injuries due to a car accident.
This man will assume and if you don’t visit him for the last two years, the patient is considered inactive and he will deny the appointment.
I unfortunately could not see him due to my insurance and had to see someone else. He will not want to make an appointment because you haven’t seen him in the past two years.
My husband and I will not longer have him as our PCP. In short, I will not recommend this doctor.

Prior to the pandemic I used this office for routine health and the occasional sick visit. So there once, maybe twice a year. No real complaints except feeling just like a patient. I wasn’t referred or had family that had been going there for years, which seems to be the client base as Dr. Arias was surprised I ended up there. In 2020 with the pandemic I think a lot of people avoided in office apts, used Tele health and tried to overcome. On Friday 7/30, I called to see if I could get a sick apt. I was informed I was having covid delta symptoms. Ok, worrisome to be told. But then I was also told because I hadn’t been seen by the office in the last 6 months, they wouldn’t see me. If I had been then they could do a Tele apt but since not I needed to go to urgent care. Never have I felt so abandoned by a dr office, ever. I can understand not wanting a patient in office with symptoms but clearly the capability of Tele health was an option but a no. Not only with 20’ being uneasy being out and about, I was laid off. Lost my insurance. Knock on wood I didn’t have many health issues during that period. I guess if you’ve been a long term patient or have a family history there maybe you’d like this office. I however will be finding another PCP who is more considerate and gives me the feeling of actually caring about me as a person and not just a patient lining their pockets.
