DO NOT take your vacuum here to be repaired. I brought my less than 2 year old Dyson here to be repaired and I was told it could take up to 3 WEEKS to repair. I was using it and the screws literally fell out and the wires were exposed. I received a call a few days later saying that Dyson would not be covering my warranty and he insinuated that I had purposely taken the screws out and ripped out the wires. Why would I do that to a perfectly working vacuum? For fun!? What is your inventive to calling me a liar and then voiding my warranty, don't you want repeat customers. Dyson is taking the repair shop's word on it, because that's what they do and I am forced to pay the cost of the repair even though it's through no fault of my own. Thanks a lot for the great service, oh, and for calling me a LIAR. I will be taking my business elsewhere and telling my friends and family to do the same.

My vacuum was covered under a 1 yr manufacturers warranty AND a Home Depot warranty I paid extra for. I took it to Docs because it was the closest authorized repair center for my type of vacuum. They told me loose belts, clogged pathways etc. weren't covered (and I took the vacuum apart, cleaned everything and checked for all that). My vacuum was there for 2 1/2 days when I called back and asked of the status of it. They said it was "on the repair bench now". I called back 2 days later after that - because I still didn't get a call back and they said "it was being worked on". I asked if I'd get called back this time; but they didn't. I called back the next morning and a different young man said he'd call me back when he knew if it is was done; he called back and said it was; then the owner I'm assuming called back 2 hours after that and said it was done (about a week after I dropped it off and after my 3rd call he called back; thanks). I went there and paid $59.99 for a cleaning etc. because he said it was filthy (which it wasn't). I was thinking, well ok whatever as long as it works I'm ok w/ that... however, bringing it home it was still making the same noise I had an issue with and it was only at about 80% sucking power... I know this because I've used it many of times and it has a separate part that is used to pick up dog hair the spins really fast and makes a squeeling nosie; this is one of the first things I noticed before I brought it in because it was going slow and not making a loud noise because there wasnt much power/air getting to it; well its only about 5% better than what it was, because its moving, but about 1MPH which is doing nothing. Basically my $59.99 cost me a week w/ out a vacuum, SLIGHTLY improving the suction; maybe 5% worth; and still all the problems I had before I brought it in. I dont recommend this place; and I would recommend asking them to run the vacuum for you before you leave if you go here or ANYWHERE.
