This is the worst experience I have ever had with any mortgage company. My loan was bought by this company and it has been issues followed by more issues. Their customer service is HORRIBLE!! There is no consistency with the information they provide. I would call one day and get information and call the next day and was told something completely different. Oh and let me not forget!! I submitted a payment, the funds were withdrawn from my bank account but Carrington said they never received it!! Instead of trying to figure out the issue they just kept accusing me of not ever sending my payment.

Been with them since july and its already a mess, missing payment and nowhere helpful as the claim to be, i only hope and pray that this issue get resolve but i highly doubt it.

Today I received a phone call, AT MY JOB, from Carrington Mortgage. My front office manager told me that Carrington Mortgage called looking for me. When your mortgage company calls your work you drop everything and call them back. Sometimes escrow gets low, could be a payment issue, property taxes didn't go through. No, they called my business inquiring if I wanted to consolidate my personal debts through a home equity line of credit. How absolutely unprofessional can you be? You do not call someone's place of business to try to upsell a current mortgage holder. I felt like someone was trying to sell me an extended warranty on my car! Whomever made the decision to begin cold calling client's place of business should seriously re-evaluate their strategies.
