image The best midwifery practice one could ask for. The front desk staff is amazing. The midwives are kind, caring and helpful. I experienced the hardest time of my life while going to their practice over 10 years ago. During that time I was treated with even more kindness. Besides being kind, they are pleasant, and professional. I dont believe there is a better group of women out there. That means a lot when you have to show them your vagina and bare all the details of your intimate life.

image I returned to this practice in my 3rd trimester. Through the grace of the Lord I was accepted and welcomed with such care. I expressed how important it was for me to have a VBAC. Eliza and Laura were not only professional. They were empathic and they believed in me. They stood by my side. They explained everything in such a way that reassured me that whatever turn this delivery went they would take care of me... AND THEY DID along with the birth and laboring staff at Yale. Everyone one nurse that came through that door will forever be in my prayers. Thank you for your kindness and patience. This was a successful VBAC experience ill cherish for the rest of my life. Words aren't enough to express our gratitude. Again thank you and God bless

image The receptionist today (4/3/23) was so dismissive and non empathetic. If you dont like your job simply go elsewhere. I was under the impression that I had my annual exam today so I called to verify. I was told that my appointment was canceled and I was surprised because I did not remember doing so. She then said something along the lines of its for your first trimester check up. Are you pregnant? And I said No, I actually had a miscarriage and she goes and I quote Well thats why. Way to be empathetic? Everyone should be on the same page in that place. What a wonderful way to say we had to cancel your appointment due to your miscarriage. It wasnt an annual exam it was a first time checkup. Meanwhile I did not see this appointment or appointment cancelation in my mychart which is why I called. Then when trying to schedule my annual she was extremely dismissive and was acting like it was such hard work for her to book an appointment for me. Youre getting paid to sit there and book my appointment. As stated before, if you dont like your job simply quit. So receptionist, if youre reading this thank you for your nasty attitude, its the push I needed to go elsewhere. Also, she should educate herself on how stressful miscarriages are if shes going to be working in an OB setting. Shame on her.

image I just want to say that the prenatal care I received from these lovely women was something I will remember for the rest of my life. I cant speak more highly of their patience and their integrity. They believed in my body to birth this baby even when I didnt think I could. I put my faith in them and they gave my soul/spirit new life. As a nurse myself, I can say that everyone deserves this kind of care. I got so much more than a VBAC - I got confidence in myself, my ability to be a mother and most of all I was able to heal from past birthing trauma. I will never again cry sad tears when I think of birth and will forever feel empowered because I had choices. Thanks so much

image Their facility in New Haven was less than impressive. They sent us offsite for the ultra sound. The Doctor was thorough, but suggested we vaccinate a healthy 29 year old pregnant woman for Covid. She did not ask if she had already had Covid, she just said she suggested it based of studies they had. What studies have been done on pregnant women for this? Why not first ask if the person had already contracted Covid and had antibodies? I know everyone has different opinions, if you want the shot or not, its your choice. I just think its grossly irresponsible to encourage a Covid vaccine for a healthy pregnant woman. Due to this we found a new practice to help us. If I cant trust them to guide us properly on this, I cant trust them. Besides that the Dr was very nice, but the New Haven facility was also very dated. If you want to get an experimental vaccine for you and your unborn, this is a great place to go. Good luck!
