THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU AND OVERCHARGE. I tried asking about the exorbitant cost but Deric was chatty and thinks by being friendly, he can distract from the issue. I was never given a real answer. $318 for just some simple welding that took less than an hour seems like way too much and the fact that I wasnt given a straight answer when I asked why is what makes it really frustrating. I know welding can sometimes be costly labor but charging 300 for something so quick and straightforward is a sign of bad/dishonest practices. Wont ever be going back.

Ask to identify and resolve loud humming sound coming from under the hood, diagnostic....power steering pump.
2nd opinion found power steering fluid was all but empty, Meineke cost $500(ballpark figure I was given), actual cost of fix $5.
(Been a few weeks, kept an eye on the fluid level just in case there was a leak, no leak found)
Lost me as a customer

Yo Meineke, the fact that you didn't reply when I made this post 3 years ago, and only commented now, after I made a grammatical correction,and it likely appeared as a recent review, is testimony to the inefficient service you provide.
I did bring my car for an oil change and the kind gentleman who did so, did estimate $500 to change a fuel pump that needed no replacement.
I would hardly, actually, I would never fabricate a story to attack the reputation of a business, that job is handled by the owner and employees

The Meriden Meineke team is great! Deric is informative and friendly. You can tell he really knows his stuff when it comes to cars. I will definitely be back!

Go see my man Derek it's an awesome place great prices also went about to years ago with another vehicle and he did an exhaust job everyone else wanted to charge me $2000 to $3000 grand he charged me $600 great guy
