UPDATED REVIEW: We were told to be quiet at the bar on a Saturday night. We weren't even that loud and half our group is in the 40's. Not like we were taking shots like frat bros and annoying the other 4 people in the restaurant/bar. Won't be back.
Original Review:
This is a favorite spot of mine to catch a bite to eat. The staff is super friendly and attentive and their food is great! I used to do breakfast/brunch at the early bird a few doors down but the wait and crowd is too much. Not to mention the price. One day I saw that the tavern does breakfast so we went there instead. No wait, plenty of room, and it was quiet!
For breakfast I got the chicken and waffle while the girlfriend just got a waffle. The waffle was super crispy on the outside and moist throughout.
A few days later I dropped by for dinner and got the fish and chips. Nice, big chunks of fish with tons of flavor!
Prices are very affordable as well.
