I have an unusual pattern of hereditary hearing loss and have worn Miracle Ear hearing aids approximately 20 years. I've never wanted to change companies because I've been extremely pleased with my Miracle Ear aids. My first two sets were in-the-ear models, but I decided to try over the ear (behind the ear) aids.
Jim Newton retested my hearing and got my new aids adjusted to my personal preferences. You aren't limited to what the tests say you need. If you want different sounds adjusted, by attaching the computer to your aids while they are in your ear, an almost unlimited variety of changes can be set. If some sound is bothering you or you have an issue, Jim has probably heard them all and is knowledgeable in administering any adjustments you need. For example, I found that setting water glasses on our stone counters made a sharp sound that hurt my ears ~ no problem. A simple adjustment and the irritation was gone. And unlike some providers, there is not a charge for follow-up adjustments.
I feel no hesitancy at all in recommending Miracle Ear in Sterling. The warranty is excellent and even includes batteries. If you aren't hearing well and avoiding social situations because of it, don't hesitate to call Miracle Ear for an appointment. It has made a huge difference in my life for years , and I wouldn't dream of changing.
