The care I received at the YVMC was perhaps the best I've ever had. The doctors, nurses, and staff were all superb, friendly, and compassionate. To a person they took time to explain things to me and answer all of my questions.

I know it's a stereotype to complain about hospital food, but dang if UC Health here in Steamboat doesn't have one of the best hospital cafeterias in my experience. I drove in for knee x-rays today buoyed by the knowledge lunch is here. This is spicy clam pasta with garlic bread on the side and yeah, it has some bite. Only patients and staff can eat here, so if you need hospital services, think of the cafeteria as the Silver Lining.

While on vacation in Steamboat Springs Colorado I had to have emergency gallbladder surgery. Everyone in that hospital treated us like we were the only people there with warmth, compassion, sincerity and ultra professionalism. Everything went as well as it could possibly go and the entire team of doctors and nurses and technicians were all amazing. While I hope to never have emergency surgery in Steamboat in Springs again, It’s nice to know that’s such a good hospital is in town.
