One of the most welcoming, patient-focused dental experiences I have ever had. I opted for the “NuCalm” option during my cleaning, which involved a darkening eye mask, lavender aroma cream, a calming disk on my wrist, and relaxing music. As someone who gets anxious about dental work, this (as well as the massage chair!) made my experience one that was relaxing and as stress-free as a dentist can be.

Dr. Hughes and her team are super kind and they care greatly about their patients. My procedures were not something I was looking forward to, but they all made it tolerable. Even after finding out my insurance do not cover anything; I still went with her team because they are honest and want the best for their patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Hughes and her team.

My new patient experience with this office was second to none. From the second I walked through the door it smelt and felt like a spa. Relaxing music was being played, a fully stocked beverage station was available and welcoming staff greeted me. I have always had a fear of dentists, but they really put me at ease by offering me their comfort menu, giving me a tour of the office and introducing me to the rest of the team. I was 'Wowed' the moment they offered me a paraffin hand dip and they suggested I try NuCalm for my anxiety. It was all-natural, a comprehensive 3-part system involving mask and headphones that helped me relax in minutes. Faith, was a wonderful Dental Hygienist, very gentle and thorough. I highly recommend Dr Hughes and the team at Boulder Valley Dental Center! My experience was informative, I felt comfortable and my teeth felt clean & healthy as a result of my visit.

I do not have words to express how grateful I am for my experience with Dr. Hughes and BVDC. I have significant issues with my teeth that need to be addressed and A LOT of dental trauma. I mean A LOT. So much that is prevented me from seeking any dental care for many years. Dr. Hughes and Seneca immediately became my biggest cheerleaders and I have never felt more comfortable in a dentist's chair. I was able to address one major dental issue that has really impacted my self-confidence over the years. After replacing my front tooth--I feel like a new and improved person! My smile is restored and I feel so grateful to have had this experience that has helped me start to overcome some the fear and shame I have felt around my teeth. Thank you Dr. Hughes and Seneca for everything you do for your patients!
