Stay as far away from these guys as you can. They were the brokers for the business that we purchased. The original business paid 60K for insurance. When we purchased, that amount was raised to 110K, and then a month or two after that, we were dropped by the insurance company. Then the brokerage waited until the day after the expiration of our insurance to tell us we were covered, but we never received real statements or accounting of what the insurance was or how much it costs. We ended up paying out of our bank account 156K for insurance we were told would cost 110K, and we still cannot get an answer as to why this happened. Scott was no help and it felt like he only paid attention as he realized we were leaving. We are still cleaning up this mess. We later learned we were under insured in a bunch of ways that are hard to imagine. These guys don't know what they are doing and are in way over their heads when it comes to complicated insurance packages. They will just cost you trouble and thank god we had no claims through them.
