BEWARE!! First impression was great, but second appointment email I responded that I wouldnt be home and they could spray the exterior of my home, and do the vole treatment, which is the entire reason I signed up with them. I received a generic we received your email, but we are extremely busy automated response, they came and sprayed the exterior, but did not do the vole treatment.
I emailed that I was less than impressed by their lack of communication and wanted to cancel the contract if they couldnt fulfill their end of it, and it shouldnt be such a production to get them to do what they should be doing in the first place. They sent a response that they will bill me for the $199 discount I initially received. When I signed up the contract was 6,000 pages, so that should have said something. Ill be disputing the charges, and hopefully warning other homeowners of their shady practices. I wish I would have read their reviews first. It seems this is normal, crooked business practice for them.
All the five star reviews seem to be fake and say pretty much the same thing questionable. Again, BEWARE!
Update: after I started a complaint on BBB they promptly refunded the $199 contract cancellation fee. Sad that you have to go to such lengths to make a business do the appropriate thing

I had service with this company for 4 years. I just canceled my service with them and i do not recommend them. I had service at 2 addresses my home and a rental. I told them I would only need temporary service at the rental property the sales person told me I would not be charged when I cancelled seevice at the rental property. I called to cancel service and I was charged. I contacted them and was told the charge would be waived. The charge was not waved. Not only was I lied to twice but they ended up canceling my service at both locations instead of just the rental. When I called to complain they did nothing to fix it. Terrible customer service, very disappointing. Don't use them!

Do not use this service! I have had a terrible experience with them. First the actual pest services may be ok. We were doing prevention mostly and didn't have any obvious issues outside to note whether it did any good. However, a big reason I agreed to try them out was because we were having a problem with flies inside last summer. They did no treatment of any kind for that, they just dropped us off some sticky plug-in fly traps for us to install. Thanks, but I can get those off amazon myself.
Secondly, when the person came to my door initially to sell to me, they said they were doing a trial service for the cost of $39. I asked specifically if it required a contract and was told no. They said that if we liked the service we could sign up for additional ongoing services for $199 a quarter. After our initial questionable service, I notified the company that I did not want to move forward with any future services. A few weeks later, someone came to my door to perform services. I told them I had canceled the services and not to do anything. They said they would let the company know. The company contacted me and I explained I had already canceled it. They are now claiming that I owe them a $199 fee for terminating a contract I do not have with them. BEWARE, any service they provide seems to come with an unspoken, unwritten contract. Do not fall for any initial trial offers.

I'm going to tell you the ugly truth about aptive they make it sound like you're getting a awesome deal you can cancel it anytime and after having their service performed for over 3 months we had more spiders they ran out of mosquito spray and I honestly believe they use water because if they're spraying for insects and bugs they got worse the more they sprayed and then they lock you into a contract even though they say you can cancel it anytime but you are still expected to pay a cancellation fee even though they couldn't perform the services that they committed to and if you don't pay the cancellation fee they turn it into collections My best advice is don't use them if they did a good job I would have left a good review I'm telling you the facts nothing less Good luck and beware
