I have never been so compelled to give a review good or bad. But here it goes. Doug and Christa Turner did our taxes for years,and we developed a great relationship. That was until we got audited. The facts are Christa put down that we had $1800.00 in massages a month that we we're claiming. Even if it was a typo, common sense would have made you scratch your head ( don't you think she could of called and said hey guys that's not right. Nope, (then she lied and said she tried to call me). In turn we get audited so Doug gets involved. Doug told us he will go to the audit on our behalf and strongly advised us not to go!!!So as it goes we got slammed for my husbands mileage, same mileage log procedure that 90% of sales people do. He does not drive 27,000 miles for personal use. Then we get notice we're getting audited for a second year. Same thing happened, so at this point we owe roughly $12,000.00 Then Doug Turner added a $2000.00 bill for all their hard work. Oh don't forget the late fees!! I have spent countless hours holding interviews with CPA's and folks with Milage logs. And it is in my opinion that there were so many avenues that they could of used to help our situation and did nothing. Plus who gets audited and doesn't go to their own interview? It is in my opinion the whole thing was shady and hard to believe. Those are the facts and I'm hoping not one else will ever go through what we did !!!!!
