Dr. Githens patiently, clearly and thoroughly explained my options for a shattered humeral head. He made sure all of my questions were answered and got me into surgery the next day. He was also kind, compassionate and encouraging. I count myself extremely fortunate to have found him, and would recommend him without reservation.

I shattered my calcaneus one year ago and today I had my last visit with Dr. Githens. I am more than impressed with the outcome, I've raced my son across the football field and can't wait to hit the slopes this winter. He did an incredible job! Check out my hardware. Thank you Doc!

Dr. Githens is an incredible surgeon. I broke my pelvis in a ski accident in multiple places, injury was complex. Dr. Githens operated on me and surgery went great. He found an orthopedic surgeon in my area for post-operative care for me. He is attentive, always returned my calls if I had questions. It is because of him, that 8 months post-surgery, I feel completely healed and back to my old-self! Wonderful doctor and surgeon!
