I own 5 different lasers all purchased at Quanta and I love them all. The team is knowledgeable and responsive. I initially flew out to Golden, CO to meet the entire team and demo several machines before purchasing. Tom Merolla is a superb resource for all things laser technology and has a good deal of clinical knowledge and connections too. His support staff are very professional and helpful as well. Quanta has several machines that are the technological leaders of their kind like the Discovery Pico and Fractionated Erbium Resurfacing-both cost a fraction of their competition. These have been game changers in my business in San Diego. I see Quanta as a true business partner and they have been right by my side every step of the way leading to a banner year. Anyone wants a reference or to talk about Quanta machines don't hesitate to contact me directly I will even allow you to visit my clinic and sample the equipment.

Alex Kurz is an asset and a total amazing sales guy and both knowledgeable and kind, generous and customer orientated. I will stand by the fact Quanta is a great technology.
The one star review is because, I bought the Light a Star or (light a *) and the Eterna Tower and QuantaShape, formerly VaserShape. My issues started early with Quanta.
Their former CEO Christopher was beyond awful but he is gone.
Alex Kurz was a great help. That said his hands are tied as a salesman. I got two machines that had multiple problems. In fact, the day before opening one was already completely KAPUT, they literally had to have Alex and another worker drive overnight with a replacement. I was angry, as you can imagine, and was at lunch the day before and Andrew and Alex called me, this was before the final problem, asking me to vent actually, this was Andrew who prompted me to vent, that I was on a recorded line I did not know nor should it have mattered.
A day later on a Saturday morning Chris, the CEO, called me. He stated he heard my "recorded" conversation, then Instead of being contrite he was arrogant and actually said, "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?". I was really shocked at the question because regardless of whether or not I was "SOMEBODY" I had just given them a lot of money and prior to even opening had multiple issues with their machines. He grand standed for a while then I fought back with-DO YOU KNOW WHAT I JUST SPENT WITH YOUR COMPANY, REGARDLESS TO WHO I AM?After deescalating a little bit he asked what I wanted, and my reply was very reasonable, "an extra year warranty considering I have had 3 machines replaced and 2 parts of another replaced before they were used. He said, "I WILL NEVER MAKE YOU HAPPY SO SORRY NO WAY". I refused to collaborate with or contact Quanta thereafter and have not, though I always hoped at some point they would get rid of Chris and clean up their act re customer service.
A year later I refused to extend a warranty on machines that should have lasted years. The QuantaShape (VaserShape) had, during a routine maintenance, an issue that required a 5K replacement, at the same time my laser, literally DURING (and call Photonics to verify this as Steve was doing a Preventive Maintenance at the time this happened) had a part, the most expensive apparently, blow. Both LONG before they should have gone. This can be verified by Steve Abraham at Photonics as the average life of the QuantaShape (VaserShape) hand piece is 400 hours, I had 80 and it was gone, and the average life of the part, most expensive, that blew on my LIGHT A STAR (light a *) was gone MILLIONS of shots (pulse counts) before it should have been.
Steve contacted Quanta on my behalf and had also convinced me, as I was and am in the market for CO2 technology, that Quanta is generally good. Sadly Quanta offered nothing reasonable. Instead of saying, yes you have had an extreme amount of problems I was told it was "Murphy's Law" and what they would do was "somehow pay be back through rebate or something when I buy more from them". This is insane really and I gave the analogy of having a bad meal, sending it back three times and then getting a bad drink, having the chef come out and tell you that he is better than you so behave little girl and then being told, "BUT IF YOU BUY MORE FROM US IN THE FUTURE WE WILL MAKE IT RIGHT.
My request, when all went wrong in the second year (and should not have) was for them to replace the parts. To dangle a carrot of "buy more and we will make it right" is insane. How can I trust I will not have more problems in the future. This also has to be couples with the fact that Quanta as a company does not particularly do any marketing that helps their customers. More mainstream companies advertise and will list providers for the technology they advertise.
I really would love and still would welcome them making things right, to work with Quanta both for their technology and on marketing which I have become very good at (I did not enter this as a businesswoman, I became one). Great technology, not customer service
