FW: Peak ENT and Voice Center: Follow up
Just had my first visit with Peak ENT & Voice Center. Highly recommend their center and particularly Dr. Carley Amurao. Clearly loves what she does. Talked me through the process before testing began and talked me through the results in terms any non-MD could understand. In my case, the results were at a level that she could have started selling hear aids, but counseled that she didnt feel I was quite there yet and suggested I check again in a year or two, but still gave me the option. And get thisshe is a young professional who has worn hearing aids for some time. She has been there done that and understands where you sit.

My experience did not feel very personal at all, I wasnt asked about what I wanted to do. Seemed that everything was decided for me. There was also no new information given to me by my doctor, which defeats the point. Dr Mills was not my favorite and I booked an appointment elsewhere.
