The MaxFund Dog Shelter has amazing Staff from the moment you walk in. LuLu is so friendly and helpful with trying to pair you with a companion as no one is allowed to walk through the shelter. They bring the dogs out to spend time with you and allow you time to see if you bond with a dog. When I am ready to come and adopt, I will be coming back to MaxFund and asking for LuLu. Thanks MaxFund for all you do!!

These people where so racist against my son. We went in on a Saturday picked a puppy filled out an application there was no other application for the puppy. She told us it takes 2 to 5 days to check references.. ect. On the following Wednesday my son had called to check on his status because they had not yet called his references. They told him he was still the only one to have an application in on the people and they still needed to call references. He called again on Friday and the puppy had been adopted. My son is a young 24yr old mixed man. And he was treated very unfairly!!!!!!

My parents have adopted from MaxFund, I did a volunteer day here, but today was the first time I had the opportunity to adopt from MaxFund. The experience has been great. We adopted Stevie and I am beyond impressed with how much this entire staff cared about animals. They want you to be comfortable with the whole process and go as far as saying "once a MaxFund Dog always a MaxFund dog". Meaning that if anything comes up, they want the dogs back, no questions asked. This love for the animal at a no kill shelter is inspiring. Our adoption contact Lulu helped us through the whole process and spent as much time as we needed to make sure we were all comfortable. She was great, the other staff who walked Stevie out was great. Thank you everyone!

The dog shelter is absolutely amazing. I recently adopted my dog Roscoe from there and had the best experience with the staff. Lulu and Tamara were extremely helpful, friendly, and supportive during the process.
I was originally looking at cats but had a not so spectacular experience at the cat shelter. Diane, whos the manager, was rude and disrespectful when I was trying to get more information about a cat I was looking to adopt.
After that experience I decided to head over to the dog shelter and was immediately greeted with kindness. The staff truly cares about the dogs and are amazing. Lulu and Tamara really made the experience for me. They were kind from start to finish. I would 100% recommend Maxfund Dog Shelter to my friends and family. A very big thank you to the shelter and to Lulu and Tamara.
