Dr. Barolat was very thorough and knowledgeable during my initial examination. After years of enduring chronic headaches and visiting many doctors, I learned new facts and ideas. Im glad I found a superstar in the field of neuroscience.

My right foot was crushed due to an on-the-job injury on April 7, 1990, requiring multiple surgeries over 30 years ago.
Dr. Barolat was not my original surgeon. But he has done magnificent work on me since taking over my case.
I have found that Dr. Barolat, Justin and the staff are like family to me. I'm sure it's not just me that feels this way. He has many patients that see him regularly.
It really is important to have a good relationship with your surgeon, especially when he is going to follow you for a long time after surgery.
Neurosurgery is unlike most other types of surgeries where body parts are either taken out or repaired. In my case, Reflex is Sympathetic Dystropy (RSD), or now called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), uses the nervous system to cancel the pain signal coming from my right foot and right knee before it gets to my brain. Without this, I would not be able to function on a daily basis, due to Chronic Pain.
I have no problem referring Dr. Barolat, Justin and the staff to anyone who is contemplating similar surgery for relief of chronic pain.
