If i could give 10 stars i would! My husband and i have been working with John and Amanda Sessa of SWBC Mortgage Boulder for approx. 8.5 years. We couldn't imagine working with any other mortgage corp. We have refinanced a couple times over the years and each time is a breeze! Communication is on point with these guys! Their willingness to help at every step of the process says a lot about the kind of people they are. The process is always seamless and pain free. We trust they are always putting their clients first and finding the best rates possible. We highly recommend the SWBC Mortgage Boulder team!!! Thanks for everything you do John, Amanda and team!

My husband and I had an excellent experience when we refinanced with SWBC, specifically Carrie Nash. We are very busy people and just didn't have the time to jump through the hoops of larger banks, but we knew we needed to refinance before the interest rates increased further. Carrie made the process very easy and quick. She kept us informed, especially concerning time sensitive money saving opportunities of which she found a few. Thank you, Carrie. We highly recommend SWBC with Carrie Nash!

We closed on our new (to us) home, and SWBC Mortgage really made it happen. Debi and team (Hillary especially) went out of their way to make sure we could close quickly -- especially after the seller's denied our extension request (due to our down payment being late, not the mortgage). Debi and Hillary were in constant communication, even after-hours, during the entire process. My wife had used SWBC in the past but this was my first rodeo, and while I can't say it was easy (none will be) they definitely made the mortgage process as painless a possible. We are now a few weeks into our home and couldn't get happier! Thank you Debi, Hillary & SWBC Mortgage! Todd & Lisa

I generally never give 1 star reviews. I tend to immediately think that the person giving it is emotionally flying off the handle after a single petty occurrence. In my case I have been attempting to deal with what should be a simple issue to fix for four months, countless calls, countless emails and from all of this data I have formed a very negative view of this company. SWBC has owed me money for 4 months. Countless calls and emails have not resolved the situation. I have been continually told there is a check in the mail when there is not. They refused to fix the situation via wire. The claim to not send them my guess is that a wire might costs them 15 dollars. They make no ammends though for keeping and holding my money for months. While I am in the unique situation of them owing me money my guess is that customer services would be just as horrible if the situation was inversed. I would not recommend doing business with this company.

This was our experience... Imagine Five days before close, your lender tells you essentially that due to an oversight on their behalf, that they're not going to be able to finance your loan after-all. You then desperately call up other mortgage institutions, each of which tells you that you'll qualify for a Home Path loan (Home Path doesn't require appraisals, so we never needed one (SWBC forced us to pay for one), a major oversight on SWBC's behalf) no problem, there's just no way they'll be able to do it in five days. And so after each telephone exchange you find yourself thinking if only we hadn't made the mistake of going with SWBC, we'd be closing on our dream house in five days, but now, we're going to lose it. And all thanks to the fact that we chose a lender that was apparently completely out of their element. And the icing on the cake, an email from SWBC requesting payment for an appraisal that would never have been necessary had we been given the level of professionalism and experience that we thought we were getting by going through SWBC. Well that was our experience and Tom Reum was the guy who's lack of experience almost cost us our house had we not been able to come up with an emergency $100k from a family loan. NOT the kind of experience most people want to have when it comes to buying a house in this extremely competitive Denver housing market.
