image This has taken me a few years to write this since this has happened. The trauma I have experienced from this hospital has added to my CPTSD and I can't put into words how this has still affected me but it's important to speak out against the injustice that has happened to me. The physical therapy department is absolutely terrible.
The original therapist I saw was going to be out of town for a while so I started treatment with the other physical therapists. I was there for about 3 months and not one of the 3 therapists properly evaluated me and added to my trauma. I originally went in for pool therapy. The first therapist had me get into the pool and started having me do exercises without evaluation. I also had to wear a mask in the pool by myself.
The next few appointments I saw a different therapist. She saw how wearing a mask in the pool was causing me distress and was fine with me not wearing one. I had to wear a mask in the pool otherwise they wouldn't treat me. She put in the notes for me not to wear a mask in the pool and to have someone in the pool with me. The main therapist ignored that and still had me wear a mask in the pool by myself. Being severely injured and doing that still has really messed with me. I refuse to go into a pool again.
The 2nd therapist was also pushing me in ways I wasn't ready for and not taking my medical needs into consideration causing me more harm. She also yelled at me when I couldn't remember what my other homework was from other providers. I had suffered a severe TBI which has caused memory issues among other health problems. She knew that and yelled at me for not being able to remember that.
The main therapist stopped doing pool therapy with me after I received a certain diagnosis and wanted to switch to normal physical therapy for a while before going back to pool therapy. She also was having me to tasks without proper evaluation.
The last appointment I had with her she told me that there's no way I could still be injured a year after the car accident I was in and that it was still in my head and just need to think positive to get better. I'm still severely injured years later from that event. She also told me "that she shouldn't be telling me this" and then proceeded to talk bad about another patient and his service dog in front of me and making fun of the service dog.
I also told her that after the last appointment there was a guy that fell in the parking garage and I went into the hospital to get him help while my mom stayed with him. She told me that I shouldn't be helping people because of my conditions. She then told me that she once saw an elderly lady have the elevator doors close on her and she did nothing to help the injured lady. I did tell the receptionist what happened and that I wasn't going back ever.
I also saw the hand specialist clinic. The doctor was fine but that office was a hot mess. Very poor communication and fell through the cracks.

image They asked me to arrive 30 minutes early to my appointment. No problem! I had been waiting for over 2 and a half hours for them to bring me back to see the doctor. Now, after seeing what the hell is going on, I am in the exam room for another hour and still no doctor. How many times can they forget about one patient?

image The latest hospital financial scam!
I received a bill for around $3200, which I expected as I'm on an HSA plan. I go online to pay my bill and it's 0'd out. I try the QR code, logging in as a guest, NOTHING. It shows $0 balance owed. I've been in this position before, and knew if I don't pay or find a way to pay, they will simply send me to collections.
I call the number to pay, and am told that if a bill is over a certain amount, they simply turn off your ability to pay and assume you need financial assistance. I told them I just wanted to pay the bill. I know I will not quality for financial assistance, and can I please pay my bill. The customer support rep transfers me to another person, saying they have to remove the block so I can pay.
I get to Person #2, who has me reverify all of my information in order to access my account. Once I do, she says she has to transfer me to the Colorado center to do anything.
I get to Person #3, who again, has me reverify all my information. She says I have no balance and nothing to worry about. I push her, saying that I KNOW I have a balance because I have a letter saying I owe a balance. I tell her it feels like fraud to me, and that I just simply want to pay the hospital the $3200 I owe. (Mind you, I'm not even complaining about the fact that this is for a 2 hour Emergency Room visit where LITERALLY all they did was hook me up to an IV, and I received NO itemized bill or anything).
She transfers me to a FOURTH person, who finally takes my credit card.
It took me 30 minutes to pay a bill I should have been able to pay online, and had I not pushed to pay it, I would have been sent to collections. If this isn't fraud, I don't know what is.

image Your parking structure is just the absolute worst. I spent 35 minutes driving around it at 10:00 this morning, before giving up. Finally went to Valet, and spent another 10+ minutes waiting for service, since you
. I'm thinking of changing doctors. This wasted so much of my time have one onlyperson person working it.

image I went I because I had stabbing chest pains and passed out. They could not find out what was wrong with me because I had 2 rum and cokes on a Friday night. I left and was escorted out because I wouldn't keep quiet on how incompetent their medical staff is. Just because someone has alcohol in their system and admits to having some drinks on a Friday night does not mean there isn't something serious health wise when they have a stabbing chest pain and pass out because of it. I still do not know what is going on but with the next chest pain I will hopefully not die. They tested me for COVID and put in IV in my arm then refused to remove it even though there was no use for it. I actually had to tell them I was going to pull it out unless they took it out. . The place is a uncoordinated disaster and best to be avoided. I still have no idea why I had chest pains and passed out.
