image @shanewilliams was a phenomenal gearhead who fit me into the right boots after months of looking. Thanks Shane, youre awesome!

image By far the best place to go on the front range for boot fitting. Shane was incredibly cool and knowledgeable. Learned more about my feet in 2 hours than I did in 27 years on earth. Walked out with the best possible combo for my riding and my body.

image If you want to have exceptional and honest advice when it comes to purchasing gear come support your local snowboard shop at EVO! Shane Williams was of the highest level of helpfulness when it came to boot selection. EVO was out of stock of the size I needed (because of the spring break craze) but Shane was adamant that I left with a list of boots that matched my requirements. Shane was extremely knowledgeable and personable, he did not make me feel pressured to buy something that wasn't 100% I wanted. I recommend everybody looking for gear to stop by EVO, they clearly employ the best of the best.

image I recently purchased Nidecker Kita Snowboard Boots from this Store i fitted and acessed. I was told theresa was a 365 day return policy. After one full day of riding on them MY ankle swellled to the size of a grape fruit. It was so panful i was not able to ride the rest of the weekend. When i went to return them i was told they couldnt take them and I was stuck with the boots because I used them once. How can you tell if you like them if you dont use them. I returned defective equipment to Christys all the time and they almost always allow for an exchange. I will never make a major purchase with this company again. I strongly recommend you go to a more customer centered retail company when choosing boots or other expensive equipment. 300 $ down the drain.m
Response to owner. My boots were fitted by one of your experts and they did let me know they would charge me 50$ to make my boot fit. You never deal with this at Christy sports .

Hi Marlon,My name is Jeremy, one of the evo Denver Store Supervisors. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to visit our location and provide us with some feedback on your experience. We take all feedback to heart and are always looking for ways to improve our guest experience. We are sorry to hear about your experience with the Nidecker snowboard boot you had purchased online. Generally, we do not take back product that was purchased and then used. We have an excellent team of bootfitters that we encourage you to come in and work with before the boot purchase so we can dial in what boot best fits your foot, ankle, arch, etc..before you go out and ride. We also have our evofit program which is discussed when purchasing ski or snowboard boots in store which ensures that your boots will fit well through the first season and overall life of the boot.I apologize for any miscommunication that may have happened in regards to our return policy but please do not hesitate to reference our return policy online at evo.com (https://www.evo.com/returns.) We would love the opportunity to turn your experience around and we thank you for being a valued guest of evo. If you would like to discuss your visit further or chat about options moving forward, please reach out to [email protected]. We hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and we look forward to hearing from you in the near future.Best,Jeremy

image I waited to write this review as I wanted to ski a few days in my new set up prior to sharing my experience.
I had been skiing on 20+ year old set up from play it again sports that I bought when first moving to Denver. After 3 seasons in those boots, I had enough of the pain. I booked an appointment in February and they were booked til March (makes sense in peak ski season). I signed up for the regular boot fitting.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by Gordy at the check-in desk. He ended up taking me to a different room in the building next-door as it was super busy in the retail store. Gordy then sat me down and asked me if I wanted a beer since they are sponsored by 805 brewing. Thinking it'd be rude not too, I said hell yeah.
Gordy asked all about my skiing experience prior to taking any measurements. He seemed genuinely interested in improving my skiing and making me more comfortable in some boots. He asked to see what bindings I currently ran, and when I showed him a picture, he informed me that my outdated bindings were not going to work well withe newer boots. On top of that, he said they were probably next in line for becoming indemnified and explained how my skis were system skis. He went on to explain that a new set-up was probably a wise decision based on the factors above. So I ended up asking for a whole new set-up.
Having a high-volume foot with high arches and scrunched toes, finding shoes that fit has always been hard. Gordy took some measurements and told me that only a few boots are going to fit my feet. He brought out three pairs and I tried each of them on. After standing in various poses, walking around, and discussing the features of the boot, he worked with me to find the most comfortable pair. After heat molding the liners, he worked with me to determine where they needed to be punched out.
After the boots were taken care of, we went over to the computer to look at skis. He showed me a variety of skis and explained how they'd react to a person of my size (6'6" and 295lbs) and skill level (intermediate). He was geeking out over the K2 99ti mindbenders and told me that this was the ski for me. He stressed how the ski, paired with the stiffer boots, would help me have more control at higher skis and overall help me improve my skiing. They were already having an end of season sale, and although they weren't in-stock at this location, Gordy asked the manager if I could still get the extra 15% promo they were running for in-stock skis. So I got these skis for almost 1/2 off MSRP.
I never felt like I was getting pushed into a decision or oversold. As someone who didn't know much about the difference in skis, I left there with a bunch of knowledge thanks to Gordy. After skiing in the new set up, I could not have been happier. The boots are very comfortable, and the skis performed far beyond my expectations. I'll be coming back with any ski needs.
