The Alcott is a great place to live and the current management is excellent! I've lived here since it opened and I'm thrilled with my decision. It's a great location if you want to be close to the action, but away from the noise and ruckus. There have been growing pains as there is with any new property, but current management has done a PHENOMENAL job in my opinion. They've made more efforts to fix the elevators and the mail room than their predecessors. They also had permanent barricades installed to keep away the trouble makers who would hang out at the end of the street. I've not had many complaints living here, but when I have they've acted swiftly and effectively. I also want to shoutout the maintenance crew, as they're some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. I haven't had any maintenance issues yet, but I've had some miscellaneous problems that they've gone above and beyond to help out with. No place is perfect, but this place has been a wonderful spot for me and it's been continually improving since the shift in management.

I moved to Denver in March 2021 and have had a great experience living at the Alcott. The neighborhood is a perfect mix of suburban feel/neighborly, but you can also walk to downtown and it has a city feel to it. My apartment is great for hosting people before a Broncos game as the stadium is a short walk away. The staff is helpful, quick to respond, and works really hard to get to know the residents and improve the community. Maintenance is by far the best group I have ever worked with at any apartment building I have lived at. If I open a request, it usually gets taken care of within 24 hours. The building itself is well made and I never hear my neighbors. I just signed up for another year at the Alcott as they have made my move to Denver a wonderful experience :) As far as the other reviews mentioning that people don't feel safe at the Alcott, I disagree. I frequently go for night or early morning runs and as a 20-something year old girl feel completely secure doing that. If you live in any major metropolitan city, there is going to be crime. They put a security team in place to try to counteract that, and you just have to be smart. Overall, I enjoy the neighborhood, apartment amenities, and the staff is great.
