This has been my favorite place to live in all of Denver. Honestly, if I could pick this building up and move it with me I would. The employees in the main office are the most considerate apartment agents I have ever met. Though I never needed maintenance done to my apartment, I always saw the guys working on something to improve the building. Everyone, down the cleaning lady, was of the upmost quality. I would recommend this place to anyone.

While I believe all individual staff at RedPeak are good people(and friendly), it has become clear to me over my 3 years here that collectively, RedPeak couldn't care less abut you once the ink on your lease has dried. In my time here several repairs have been made to he building, however these were mostly superficial and did not benefit the residents. Fixed cracks in pool deck concrete, but did nothing to improve the sanitation of the pool. They installed wireless internet, but not for the residents, just for the keyless entry. Pool light out? lets drain the pool in the middle of the summer when its 100 degrees out. Ideally a landlord would care 50/50 about new and existing tenants, but it is clear that they just want to make things look nice for your move in date. Consider this my advanced notice I will not be resigning my lease.

Lee was the first Red Peak associate I met. He was very nice. I came to 825 Dahlia to tour an apartment. I asked Lee to remind me the price on the apartment that I was going to tour. Unfortunately, when he looked it up in his system, someone had reserved it by submitting an application. Oh well. Lee showed me another Red Peak property in the area that was nice, but not exactly what I was looking for. I asked Lee to let me know if the spot in 825 Dahlia came available again, but I did not have much hope. The following weekend, I circumstantially wound up touring a couple other Red Peak apartments. Every Red Peak associate I met was very nice, helpful, and went out of their way to tailor the apartments they showed me to what I was looking for. Riley at Colorado Station showed me a nice place. But, Colorado Station was not my ideal location. I told Riley I was thinking about checking out the apartments at Poets Row. Riley told me those places would be too small for what I was looking for. He put me in touch with another very good associate who had recently moved from New York, but whose name escapes me. She showed me a spot at 10 S Emerson. We spent some time ironing out some details and came to an agreement. Unfortunately, when I went to apply for this place, it too had been reserved by someone who had submitted their application while I was touring the property. I returned home and continued my apartment search, disappointed. To my luck and surprise, Lee called me back and informed me the spot at 825 Dahlia became available! I toured the place, loved it, and submitted my application as soon as I was able. Lee's following up with me was outstanding customer service, and I really appreciate him thinking of me. When it came time to review the lease and sign contracts, there were some errors in the first "welcome letter" contract presented to me that I asked to have changed. Lee had to send the documents to someone else within Red Peak LLC in order to correct them. After a few days, The documents were not returned to Lee. I was getting anxious because my move-in date was approaching and I wanted to have my contracts and lease signed before I hired movers. Unfortunately, this situation forced me to hire movers before my lease was signed. I called Kayla a few days later to see if my updated "welcome letter" agreement, and lease had been returned. They had not. Kayla tried to produce an updated document for me herself, which I really appreciate. Unfortunately, the system would not allow the documents I needed to be produced. Still, I really appreciate her trying to help me in that situation. I wound up having to sign the lease on my move-in date with my movers waiting because the updated document was not produced for me until the night before. I barely had time to read it. Additionally, signing the lease on my move-in date actually cost me money because my movers were on the clock. We had to wait until the documents were finalized before I could get my key and move my things inside. This was not the fault of Lee, Kayla, or any other Red Peak associate that I met. Rather, it was the fault of the larger Red Peak system which seems to be somewhat regimented, automated and impersonal. Nevertheless, every associate I dealt with was absolutely wonderful, and made my apartment search a pleasure. The larger Red Peak LLC needs to work on its turnaround time editing contracts that they drafted including errors. Also, it was extremely frustrating to go out of my way to tour properties on two occasions and them not be available immediately after the tour. Indeed, that is the nature of the free market, and Lee went above and beyond to remedy my situation. But, if Red Peak LLC is looking for a way to improve its overall customer experience, it might look into making minor changes to its application process so that they don't wind up wasting their customers time, which would have happened to me but for Lee.
