I moved into Cherry Creek Abbey in 1990 and was fortunate enough to get into the newest building. Rent was a bit steep at $450, but we made it work. It was clean and quiet, except for me and my roommate. We only got in trouble once and that was because we decided to move in at about 11pm with a bunch of friends in tow. And none of us were sober. The management never complained when we set off fireworks in the apartment, had loud parties, or dropped deuces from the window. The building did not have that weird onion soup smell that you have in most other apartments. I moved out in 1991.

Lived here for 2 years and liked it a lot. The owner is reasonable, Candice at the leasing office is a peach and the Dave, together with his sidekick, is the best maintenance man I've ever met.

Lived here for over 2 years and will stay as long as I stay in Denver. Units are clean, and having a washer and dryer is clutch. Dave is the best maintenance guy! And Candace in the office is wonderful and very responsive whenever you have an issue. Both of them remembered my name after their first times interacting with me. Walls are thick, I never hear my neighbors. Electric bill is really cheap because there’s baseboard heaters and wall a/c units. Can’t beat the location at this price... just across the street is $500 more monthly! If you don’t wanna pay for extras like a pool or a balcony, this is the way to go. They are picky about their tenants but it pays off because the neighbors are quiet and you rarely see people moving in and out. Gotta have stellar credit to even consider applying here. And jump on it because open units are rare. Downfalls: Office says it’s open 20 hours a week but it’s often less, and you never know when it’ll be closed. Parking lot stays dangerously icy for weeks after a snow, yeah it doesn’t get sunlight but they rarely salt it. Management doesn’t do anything about people smoking on the front steps (signs say don’t) or people parking without permits. Very little counter space in the kitchen. Getting mail here sucks. But when you pay $700 for rent in Glendale you get what you pay for! Even with all this, still easily 5 stars. Nowhere is perfect.
