I’ve lived here for about 2 years now with my wife and infant son and it’s definitely ‘you get what you pay for’ kind of place. The positives are that all of the staff from leasing to maintenance are very friendly and helpful. I’ve had several maintenance issues as the building is older and they’ve always resolved all of my issues within 1-2 business days (typically 1). The negative - some of the other residents (even though most are very friendly to my family and I). Washers and dryers are limited and people leave their clothes for a LONG time, despite having free pickup bags many people do not clean up after their dogs, and the elevators ALWAYS smell like cigarette smoke. Lastly, they tend to run specials for ‘x amount off on rent’ and as a result tend to attract not the most desirable lessees like my new neighbor who plays his music so loudly to the point where I can hear it outside if I’m walking my dog and/or through our common wall (not to forget him and his wife yelling at their small child when he has a tantrum at odd hours of the day). The other perplexing piece is that this is the first community I have lived in that does not limit the amount of people living to an apartment so I have seen one bedrooms with 3+ adults living there. So with that being said, I will most likely not renew my lease again.
