We had an incredible time at TRR! It feels like staying at someone's home vs a hotel. Megan and Scott the owners are a part of everyday sharing stories and history of this beautiful property. The staff is almost entirely college aged kids that are happy to be there. Our kids 7&9 spent most of their day with the kids program- riding horses, swimming, singing, roaming the property. You won't see anyone sitting on their phones- there's no WiFi ! And there are no TVs. The horse program is great for beginners- the horses were gentle and we rode mostly in slow mountain trails. I did many of the hikes offered and they were challenging and beautiful. It was a very active trip, in the best way. The food was excellent- healthy, hearty, family style meals. My kids are begging to go back next year. Thank you to everyone at Tumbling River for this experience.

Forget Disneyland, Tumbling River Ranch is "the happiest place on earth." Actually, "happy" doesn't do it justice -- TRR is a magical.
We've done two trips toTRR with our extended family -- before we leave, we're alreadyplanning our next visit, and calling our friends to come as well. Why so great? Well, for one, Scott and Meghan make the experience frictionless. We arrived on Sunday and barely made a plan after that. Every night, they helped us plan our next day. Did we want to do a trail ride? Hike? Fish? Massage? Relax in our room? Whatever we wanted to do, every detail was planned. And our youngkids went off on their own adventures with the incredible staff of wranglers and counselors. And the food. Oh, the food. On a typical vacation with family, every few hours I'm thinking about when and where we'll take the kids to eat. At TRR, they literally rang a breakfast/lunch/dinner bell, called everyone to a central hall, and served a delicious, family-style meal. And the nights all brought new adventures, from a cookout to a private concert to a "fancy dinner" for the grown ups (while the kids played capture the flag). On the last day, the whole ranch gathers for a rodeo, and we got to watch our normally timid kids jump headfirst into barrel rides and keyhole tricks... followed by a nighttime square dance I'll never forget.
Our only complaint is the week flew by too fast.

Tumbling River Ranch is an absolute amazing experience. Scott and Megan do a wonderful job making every day a new experience and something you'll remember for a lifetime. The staff including the wranglers, cooks, kids counselors, maintenance crew, and cleaning staff are all amazing human beings. You will create memories for a lifetime. Bonus, the food is amazing.

We had an amazing vacation. The staff there is excellent and really makes the trip memorable. Every day is something unique and different. Megan and Scott make you feel like part of the family and have special little touches to make you feel welcome.
