Pros: Clean, well maintained. Friendly staff. Great selection on breakfast. An actual working tub. We had the room next to elevator and couldn't hear it. City celebrates the nearby Great Sand Dunes National Park.
Cons: gap under the door was a little large and let a fair bit of light/sound in.
Walkability: Pretty far on the outskirts of town, not tons to walk to, but there are a few restaurants and a Walmart not far off.

It looks like a great hotel...
Yet I was looking for a job....
Front desk associate never gave the housekeeping manager my info. I wanted to speak with the manager even when he was right there in an interview with an individual.
I told her I would wait for him after he gave the interview.
She said "The interview may take a long period of time. But I can get your name and number and have the manager call you."
Three weeks later not a peep from him. Too bad..
I guess I did not impress her enough to even get my name and number passed to him...

The front desk was exceptional. Shortly after I checked out, I realized I left an important item in my room. The staff person I spoke with went to the room personally and had my item waiting for me when I returned several hours later. Thank you!

Clean with decent breakfast but the $75 pet fee per night is ridiculous. That's nearly the cost of a second room and much more than other comparable chains. I am unhappy with the service as I was told this was a deposit at check in and then informed it was a non refundable fee at check out - the stay absolutely not worth it if you're traveling with a pet.
