image There are quite a lot of people. The pastor preaches very seriously. The environment is good. There is only one entrance and exit to the parking lot. Dont go wrong and take a long detour

image This church was very careful in controlling the flow of attendees. That was fine.
The service last Sunday was for Father's Day (June 17, 2022). But, instead of praising and encouraging the fathers, the pastor scolded the fathers for 15 minutes for not taking care of the families, loving their children while using the American research of crimes, adding the Chinese traditional values of stern fathers.
He mixed up the two cultural differences, preaching to wrong choir, lumping them together to prove how good a father he was.
He mentioned he was preparing the sermon, his daughter screamed for pain from the earlier injury in a game. He dropped the preparation to attend to his daughter, insinuating that what a good father he was.
But, earlier he said how a godly a minister he was.
Now let me ask you, " since how trusting you are to God, and a good minister faithful to your calling, then why did not you just pray to God's intervention to heal your daughter and continue to prepare for the sermon?"
He has already earned his reward on this earth (earthlings' praises).
Mat 6:1 ISV Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of people in order to be noticed by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

image We attended the Mexico mission trip back in 2015. We arrived at our location very late at night but the Children's leader encouraged us to practice for the kids camp we were holding and said we were "doing it for God." I don't understand why we couldn't get some sleep after the long bus ride and practice well ahead of time.
The organization for who was doing what ministry at the location was very bad. I ended up searching around and I still hold a bad memory to this day. I went to the medical ministry to see if I could help out. One workers response to me was "are you a doctor?" Me: no, "can you speak Spanish?" Me: "no", "then you are useless."
That has stuck with me to this day and I still carry fear and in an unhealthy way struggle with my value being tied to what I can do rather than who I am in Christ.
In my opinion, this church needs help in administration, legalism, elitism, and love.
The food was great though! Really appreciated how hard they worked to make those fellowship times enjoyable.
