Happiest little stop on highway 33!

Fantastic hidden gem about 5 minutes down from where the 33 hits the 166. We happened to find this on our way to New Cuyama when we drove the 33 for a scenic route to our destination. It's a lovely little shop with a gas station in case you ever need it. Bikers seem to stop by and I can totally see why. The shop acts as a little gas station convenience store and also as a fine pistachio goods seller. I've never seen pistachio oil, and was quick to pick one up. They also had a garlic flavored pistachio butter, and a variety of flavored shell-on and shell-removed pistachios. I love that they have bottles filled with each variety for you to try. A small packet is $2.50, and a larger packet is around $7 (shell-on price). We bought lots to bring home as gifts. I really recommend anyone in the area to stop by.

It's a small store on a remote highway with lots of pistachio groves in the area. It's a bit of a convenience store with basic automobile needs. And it also is the retail distributor for the local pistachios, meaning many varieties are available. Also different size packages. It has a "motorcycle only" parking area that is shaded and has a cement parking area. It's a life-saving rest stop along the road to refresh. It has clean restrooms.
