I personally like Uptown location best. Its spacious, offers a lot of classes and the front staff is welcoming & friendly. They offer towels and the sanitizing wipes are always stocked. It gets busy but I was always able to find a parking spot. My health insurance offers Active & Fit program however the Santa Barbara Golds Gyms do NOT participate in that program. I was staying in Santa Barbara for two months and this was the closest gym to my housing so that why I went with it. They have some great merchandise to purchase as well which made my memory of Santa Barbara that much better! Out of all the gyms in the are (I did tour many) Golds had everything I wanted to optimize my workouts. Im a class girlie and having many classes to choose from was super important to me.
