I would not recommend this urgent care. I have a PCP in the bldg and I’d been in communication with the nursing staff all day yesterday who said if I went there (vs. the many closer urgent cares to my home) that they’d have my records and all of the context. I checked the wait times online and I also called and spoke with someone at 6:53pm. I confirmed multiple times what she told me, which was as long as I arrived before 9pm I would definitely be seen that night. I then went ahead and put my two toddlers to bed before making the ~40 minute drive, and upon arrival was told by security the manager decided to close because of capacity. Clearly if that’s a choice they make then they need to train the staff to share a very different message track, drive here at your own risk and you may or may not be seen, depending on capacity. I sat outside and called them explaining my case, and unsympathetically they told me that was the choice the mgr made at 8pm (I arrived around 8:30pm).
Many of the surrounding urgent cares had closed at 8pm, but I drove to Irvine to Hoag Sand Canyon where I had a good experience.
I know where I will (and won’t) be going in the future.
