Their billing department will charge you for an annual physical even though it is covered under insurance. They are morally wrong what they are doing to their patients.

Zero star actually! Don't go to this place for primary care!
Went to this place about 4 month ago for an annual check with Dr Kim, which is suppose to be covered 100% by the insurance. I called 10+ times to get the appointment just because this place is convenient to me.
However, I was billed $500+ out-of-pocket. They claim that this is an establish care not annual check. However, they never state this information during the call or during the check. Honestly there is nothing different during the visit, height/weight, blood pressure, lab tests order etc.
Wrote an appeal email but never got responses.

Only open on two weekdays of a week for X-rays. They have not specified basic info like this anywhere.
Their automated call system only mentioned walk-in scheduling.
Avoid this place when your primary care suggests it.

I am very surprised to hear multiple speak highly of MIMI OGAWA , i have seen her multiple times she has helped me with absolutely nothing, none of my pain concerns or mental health concens , she says she gave referrals to specialist that are in fact not given , and when i report that she says shell follow up and then nothing , she does not give a damn , i dont like pulling the race card on inconveniences so i wont say too much but shes not a person for me in particular i need a doctor that listens to my concerns and adress them not shrug her shoulders with her hands in her lap and rock back and forth this woman has not even shook my hand checked my abdomen for my reported pain i mean NOTHING she asks a question or 2 and then my appointment is over , after so many times of this i am leaving UCSF altogether because i dont have time for her to falsely report her experience with me she seems she may do that. Just because she is asian doesnt mean shes a fantastic doctor you have to actually help people. Youre a woman of high regard use your power for good or something . The desk staff were always nice to me but once i reached the back is was a rude awakening each time F this PLACE
