Road trip from Pennsylvania to San Jose. Wasn't sure at first but after staying in it over night, I had to rebook to extend the stay. Rooms are proper, clean, very nice for comfort. Gives off the modern yet classy look. The rooms have thick walls and floors so you cannot hear the other guest beside you. Parking is really good as long as it's available. The open area grass is great. Gave me time to run around and chase my son. The staff is excellent and the house keepers are amazing. I would definitely stay here again as long as I have the funds for it and as long as hayes mansions stays open, I will make this hilton my top hotel choice.
I stayed during October. The only thing that could you more focus would be the little snack area by the front desk. It needs more snacks.

Although I was not aware that I was booking through a third party while using what I thought was a direct link from their website, I do appreciate Erin for going above and beyond when it came to assisting me with my reservation.
The hotel is very appealing with personal touches throughout every room. They did such a good job at keeping the authenticity of the building, but also giving it a very modern and chic vibe when it came to decor.
The room itself was very clean and spacious. The plumbing is definitely an issue, but understandably so, given the age of the building.
I was there for a couple of days attending a conference and utilized most of the services offered during my stay.

The rooms a reserved weren't ready till 4 even though check in was at 11 am it was a non smoking room yet it smelled like cigarettes and weed I can't belive this place was worst then a hotel 6 in Oakland od all places want a let down looks amazing yet problem after problem Hilton, Marriott and even motel 6 are better people save your money time and sanity
